Critter Fund

Animals play a vital role in our quality of life—pets, in particular, provide unconditional love, companionship and, in some cases, essential services to the elderly and disabled.

Your Community Foundation believes that we have a responsibility to these animals and an obligation to ensure their welfare.

It is with this in mind that we established The Critter Fund to aid animals throughout northwest Connecticut. This field-of-interest fund supports charitable organizations dedicated to animal welfare. Grants from the Fund may be used to advance rescue, adoption and population control efforts, shelter and training initiatives, the prevention of cruelty, spaying and neutering and companion/service programs.

The Critter Fund is a charitable repository for those who are committed to the welfare of animals and wish to advance this cause.
