Community Foundation congratulates the 2017 LEAP graduates
The Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation and Danosky & Associates, LLC congratulates seven new graduates of the Leadership Enrichment for Advancing Professionals (LEAP) program. The graduates completed the intensive eight-week program designed toward building skills in all areas of nonprofit leadership.
Consisting of 7 three-hour sessions and 1 six-hour session, the eight-week program is designed to build a foundation of skills and awareness for nonprofit professionals. Facilitators share their experience, expertise, and insights while engaging participants in presentations, group discussions, research and case study analysis, simulations, home assignments, and action-planning activities that explore leadership, board governance, finance management, human resources, fundraising and budgeting.
