For centuries, Christians have understood material reality as an obstacle to holiness or as a starting point to be left behind as one grows closer to God. But belief in Creation and Incarnation beckons us to discover and deepen the truth that God’s presence in the world irrevocably transforms everything, including material reality. All is holy: from the daffodil in the garden to the snow on the mountain; from the clothes in the washer to the bodies that wear them. What role does matter have in your spiritual life and theology?  Includes lunch.
