Named for Emil “Moe” Renzullo Jr., who passed away in 2010, the Miles for Moe Fund, supports camperships at the camp that bears his name, Camp MOE, as well as other causes affecting children in the Northwest Corner. Grants from the Fund have supported parents of children being treated for cancer at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, purchased thermometers for the Medical Center’s treatment rooms, and supported the purchase of toys for children having medical procedures at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

Camp MOE was the first independent reverse-integrated summer camp in New England and is a wildly popular summer camp destination in the Northwest Corner, Camp MOE has grown from 50 campers to hundreds of campers each summer. The Miles for Moe Fund is supported through annual fundraisers.

Donation can be made year-round through the Miles for Moe website, and through the Community Foundation web site,
