Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation Scholarships
Graduating seniors and current college students: apply for scholarships through the Community Foundation Scholarship Application. Scholarship parameters are established by donors. You may qualify for scholarships based on your residence in a specific town, attendance at a specific high school, your career focus, and/or many other parameters. Many—but not all—scholarships consider academic excellence and financial need.
Cornwall Conservation Trust
Graduating seniors of Regional District #1 High School or college students who are residents of Region 1 who possess a profound concern for the environment as demonstrated by participation in ecological, forestry, FFA or biological activities. Preference will be given to Cornwall residents.
Apply online through the Cornwall Conservation Trust until May 1, 2019.
Friends of John Ponte Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is available for graduating seniors from Lewis S. Mills High School and Torrington High School who exemplify, through their participation in athletics, the qualities and interests of the late John Ponte, including leadership skills and exemplary character.
Torrington High School applicants must demonstrate participation in baseball and/or football. This scholarship is not need‐based and does not require a FAFSA or SAR.

There are multiple scholarships available for high school seniors and students currently attending college who reside in Litchfield County. Scholarship descriptions are listed on the UNICO scholarship application.
