Stream Monitoring Workshop
Stream monitoring workshop, Sat., July 6 at 9:00 a.m. Led by Tom Fahsbender, a 9 year volunteer with Connecticut’s Riffle Bioassessment by Volunteers program, a volunteer water quality monitoring protocol developed and administered by the CT DEEP Bureau of Water Protection & Land Reuse. We will be collecting and identifying invertebrates that live at the bottoms of the water habitat in order to determine brook health. No experience necessary, just a willingness to wade in streams and get wet!
Bring a drink and snack.
Meet at 9:00 a.m. at GMF’s forestry office, 201 Windrow Rd., Norfolk, CT.
